Baby Session With Wyatt

Here is the adorable little boy I recently photographed. Meet Wyatt, who is two months old and cuter than a little baby boy should be! I had a great session with him and his mom! All images were captured with a Canon 30D, using a Canon 24-105 mm lens.

Wedding Album

My final assignment for my Wedding Portrait class involved a joint project with some of my classmates, where we each had to create 6 pages to be included in a group wedding album. Here are my 6 pages (3 panoramic layouts). Click on image to view full screen.

Child Photography With Alyssa

You may remember little Miss Alyssa from the images I shot of her 1st birthday. She was so cute and fun that I had to go back for more. Many thanks to her mom, Jenna, for her patience and help with this energetic little girl! All images were captured with my Canon 30D, using a 17-40mm lens.

Testing My Patience!

Here is one of my latest and greatest challenges involving Photoshop. This was a "pen tool" test in my Digital Imaging class. The assignment was to cut out each of the 3 single items below then place them in the final scene, in any arrangement we desired. This is what I came up with after much sweat and stress. I feel much better about my Photoshop skills now that it's done, however. None of these images are my captures.

Here it is, my final submission:

Bridal Portraits with Maria

When my model wasn't able to make our appointment I did what many photography students do, I went and grabbed a classmate! This is Maria and she was gracious enough to help me out in a pinch. Many thanks to Maria for giving up some of her busy day to help me while looking beautiful with almost no effort at all.

The following images were captured with a Canon 30D, using a 17-40mm lens.

Class Reunion

Asheboro High School class of 1990 recently held their 20 year class reunion. They asked me to come photograph the event and here are a few of my favorite captures. The rest of the images can be seen here on my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/llvitale/sets/72157625291192726/

All images were captured with my Canon 30D, using a 24-105mm Canon lens.

This was a 2 day event. The first night was family night with a tailgating party at AHS's homecoming game.

Child Portrait with Austin

I recently spent some time with Austin and his mom Tamara, capturing his amazing little three year old personality. We had so much fun running around the park, playing. What a cutie pie!

Wedding Day Play

Every Fall my college conducts a "mock wedding" in order to give students real world experience in photographing a wedding. Our Bride and Groom are second year students, Torii http://toriirodgersphoto.blogspot.com/ and her boyfriend Nick http://nblphoto.blogspot.com/ . The attendants, family and guests are first year students. It was a great learning experience for everyone involved. Plus we got to eat real cake!
