Capturing Hindu-Indian Bridal Culture
A beautiful friend and classmate modeled for this assignment. Tiffany Abbassi http://tiffanymabbassiphotography.blogspot.com/ plays the part perfectly for a project I had envisioned for some time. She helped make it exactly what I had hoped it would be. This first image is the one that I submitted for my assignment. However, it was very difficult to choose a favorite, so here are my top picks. All images were shot with my Canon 30D, using a Canon 24-105mm f/4 IS lens. The lighting was studio lights and consisted of 2 soft boxes, rear fill lights and one accent light.
In July 2011 I completed my Associate's Degree in Photographic Technology, with a concentration in Portrait and Wedding Photography from Randolph Community College in Asheboro, NC. Now residing in Raleigh, NC. I am available to photograph families, children, high school seniors, engagement or bridal sessions and weddings. Contact me to schedule a consultation to discuss your personal portrait session.
